Alan Linkous is known for his keyboard expertise hailing from bands such as The Zorbians, Traveling Salvation Show, Lost Soul , Line Marque, Gray Junction, Quadrant, Tracer and most recently Retroville. We should not forget to mention a 16 year stint with fellow music partner Matt Smith in the ever popular duo Linkous & Smith performing on Carnival Cruise Lines.

“Retroville brought me out of a 4 year retirement after setting in just one weekend with the guys at Rush Street sometime in March of 2006 and the rest is history”, Linkous says. “ I couldn’t have found any more talented or nicer guys to perform with anywhere”.

          Should you ever have the opportunity to catch Retroville in action, you should play close attention to Alan’s left hand…Yes that is him playing all those complicated bass lines while playing the other keyboards. Now throw in a harmony line and tell me  this guys doesn’t stay busy !!

          Alan lives in Bristol Tennessee and owns and operates Adventure Diving teaching people how to scuba dive and takes them all around the world for underwater adventures. His company sponsors the band and  furnishes the sound system.
